The Carolina Panthers, among a handful of moves, have parted ways with four players.
As announced on Tuesday evening, the team has waived running back Anthony "Tre" Tyus III from their active roster. They've also released offensive lineman Isaia Glass, outside linebacker Jeremiah Moon and cornerback Robert Rochell from their practice squad.
Tyus has spent much of the last two seasons with Carolina. The 23-year-old appeared in two games on kick return duties this season, the Week 3 loss to the Cleveland Browns and Sunday night's Week 4 win over the Detroit Lions, totaling 127 yards on five attempts.
With Tyus' departure, the Panthers now have two open spots on their 53-man roster. At least one of those vacancies, as alluded to by head coach Dave
Canales on Monday, is expected to be filled by second-year running back and returner Trevor Etienne—who began the campaign on injured reserve.
Carolina made a pair of additions as well, signing outside linebacker Nick Hampton and cornerback Marco Wilson to the practice squad.
