The Carolina Panthers have beefed up their offensive trench.
As announced on Monday afternoon, the team has signed guard Saahdiq Charles to their practice squad. The 27-year-old hog molly returns after spending part of the 2025 campaign as a member of the group.
Charles' first stint with the organization began last October. He'd end up appearing in two games during the regular season, with all 10 of his snaps coming on special teams.
Carolina would then sign Charles to a reserve/future contract in January. He spent much of this past offseason with the team before being placed on injured reserve and subsequently released with an injury settlement in early August.
Charles now takes the spot on the practice squad left vacant by linebacker Maema Njongmeta,
who was signed to the active roster prior to the Panthers' Week 3 loss to the Cleveland Browns.
