With a 1.5-game lead atop their division and their quarterback having an eye-opening breakthrough campaign, the Carolina Panthers are garnering quite a bit of buzz. But that's not something defensive tackle Derrick Brown is too fond of.
On Thursday, Brown told reporters that the newfound national attention is "a trap." Rather than feeding into the hype, the star lineman is focusing on what he and his teammates can control.
