The Oklahoma City Thunder travel on the road to face the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday. This is the first matchup between the two squads in the 2026-27 regular season.
The Thunder (0-0) are excited to take revenge on the team that booted them last year. Part of the Opening Night slate, the co-title favorite will be in enemy territory. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams all enter the first game fully healthy.
Meanwhile, the Spurs (0-0) are the other popular NBA championship pick. They fell short in the 2026 NBA Finals. But that's in the past. Victor Wembanyama has graduated to one of the game's top players. He's a popular MVP candidate.
The Thunder enter relatively healthy. Nikola Topic (back surgery) is out. Thomas Sorber
(back surgery) is out. Otega Oweh (torn Achilles) is out.
Same for the Spurs. Tobias Harris (calf strain) is out. Jayden Quaintance (torn meniscus) is out.
Tipoff from San Antonio is set for 8:30 p.m. CT.
