The Oklahoma City Thunder continue to roll through NBA training camp. They held their second day on Wednesday, Sept. 30. They're preparing to enter the 2026-27 regular season as co-title favorites — alongside the San Antonio Spurs.
Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault and Jalen Williams talked to the local media. Daigneault reflected on Russell Westbrook's NBA retirement and the recent point of emphasis that the referees will have throughout the start of the regular season.
Meanwhile, Williams talked about being healthy for training camp and what the Thunder rookies have shown so far over two days. The All-NBA talent hopes to have a bounce-back year after being plagued by injuries this past season.
