Only weeks remain until we're back on track. The 2026-27 regular season is right around the corner. Now that we're in the quiet part of the NBA calendar, this is the perfect time to reflect and look ahead to the upcoming marathon. The Oklahoma City Thunder are projected to be big-time players once again.
The Thunder enter the 2026-27 season as co-title favorites — alongside the San Antonio Spurs. Even after their summer of cost-cutting moves, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams suffice as one of the league's top trios. With one championship ring in hand, they hope to add another.
To reflect on OKC's offseason moves and how fans think this upcoming year will play out, Thunder Wire will conduct its annual Thunder fan survey
over this upcoming Sept. 11-13 weekend. It's 17 questions and shouldn't take longer than a couple of minutes to fill out.
Please consider participating and sharing with other Thunder fans you know. The more data, the better. Results will be published this upcoming week as we inch closer to NBA training camp:
Doing my annual Thunder fan survey. It's 17 questions and shouldn't take longer than a couple of minutes. Would love to get as many responses as possible
