Hoping to bring home another NBA championship in the upcoming 2026-27 season, Jalen Williams strengthened his ties to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Paycom — which also has the naming rights to OKC's NBA arena — donated $100K to his WTTP Foundation.
In a Sunday dinner event that also featured Cody Williams and both parents, City Rescue Mission members had an elevated dining experience with the one-time NBA champion. Williams had previously been a Paycom representative.
"Sunday Dinner is about showing families they’re seen,” Williams wrote in a statement. "Taking time to slow down and connect over a nice meal can inspire a real change in our communities and is a great way to connect with the community, as well. It’s what we as a family have been doing
since I was little — connecting at the dinner table, and every Sunday, making sure we had a big, nice family meal to reconnect with one another and grow closer.
"Through this foundation we started, it’s no different. We want to serve, sit, eat and interact with everyone as a way to connect. Thank you to Paycom for partnering with us, which we are forever grateful. We get to bring that holistic experience to a place that I now call home — Oklahoma City."
Paycom's donation will support future Sunday Dinner events with Williams in Oklahoma City and Arizona. The two areas he considers home. He spent his high school days in Gilbert, AZ.
This is the latest example of Williams' philanthropy with OKC. He also helped finance the upcoming 'OKC United' soccer club. Cool to see him stay in touch with Thunder fans beyond the court. NBA players usually conduct community work, but he's taking the extra step with his own foundation.
The Thunder hope Williams can have a bounce-back year. He was plagued by injuries all of last season. To the point that he sat out most of OKC's 2026 NBA playoff run. At the peak of his powers, the 25-year-old is an All-NBA talent who's helped them bring home a Larry O'Brien trophy.
