The Oklahoma City Thunder will host the Phoenix Suns on Monday. This is the first matchup between the two squads of the 2026-27 regular season.
The Thunder (3-0) are on the second night of a home back-to-back. They beat the LA Clippers in a 108-101 win on Sunday, but it came at a costly price. Jalen Williams sustained a gruesome-looking leg injury. He needed to be stretchered out. In the game, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 34 points and six rebounds.
Meanwhile, the Suns (1-1) had a 131-122 win over the Golden State Warriors on Saturday. Devin Booker went off for 43 points and seven assists. Jalen Green helped with 12 points.

Suns vs. Thunder predictions, picks, odds
Thunder 106, Suns 101: Sometimes, the NBA schedule-makers can be cruel. After Williams sustained a scary-looking leg injury, the Thunder have to get back on the hardwood the very next day. But, hey, maybe you can say that it's for the better. I think OKC should get an emotional win over the Suns. They'll ball out for their All-NBA teammate. Gilgeous-Alexander should put up points. Same with whoever else suits up. But man, his injury is going to cloud OKC for a long time.
ODDS: Thunder by 8.5 points
O/U: 218.5
