Spurs 112, Thunder 105: These two teams should be juggernauts once again. They'll battle it out for the best record all year long. Most expect one to win the 2027 NBA championship. And after an epic seven-game duel in last year's playoffs, this is quite the way to end Opening Night with a potential banger. That said, I think the Thunder fall short. I'll give San Antonio the slight edge due to homecourt. But even with the result, I think OKC should put up an electric fight to the finish. There is going to be some high-quality, competitive basketball with a bevy of juicy narratives to follow up on.
