The Oklahoma City Thunder collected a 96-84 win over the Denver Nuggets on Thursday. This served as their home opener of the 2026-27 regular season. And boy, did it take a strong second half to erase an ugly first half.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander saw his historic 20-point streak end as he had just 17 points on 6-of-19 shooting. Chet Holmgren continues to look awesome with 12 points, 17 rebounds and four blocks. Jalen Williams also looked great with 21 points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Nikola Jokic was a nonfactor with 13 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Aaron Gordon had 20 points and six rebounds. Jamal Murray was absolutely shut down with six points and 10 rebounds.
