Recap: What OKC Thunder said on Thursday's 2026-27 NBA training camp

The Oklahoma City Thunder continue to chug along through NBA training camp. Only a few weeks remain until they get things rolling on Opening Night for the 2026-27 regular season. Even with their cost-cutting moves, they're penciled in as a top-two title favorite.

On their third day of training camp, Jaylin Williams and Kenrich Williams talked to the local media. Both have been longtime staples of OKC's rotation as role players. It'll be another year like that. Especially more so with the offseason departures they had.

Jaylin Williams reflected on getting his Arkansas childhood street named after him in the offseason. And then Kenrich Williams called his shot on who among the rookies would break out. In recent years, he has spoken highly of guys

like Jalen Williams and Ajay Mitchell. This year's guess was Aday Mara.

Here's everything else that happened in OKC's Thursday, Oct. 1 training camp:

Kenrich Williams called his shot with Jalen Williams at his first training camp. He called him a future All-Star. Is there anybody this year he has the same feelings for?
