The Oklahoma City Thunder will host the Phoenix Suns on Monday. This is the first matchup between the two squads of the 2026-27 regular season.
The Thunder (3-0) are on the second night of a home back-to-back. They beat the LA Clippers in a 108-101 win on Sunday, but it came at a costly price. Jalen Williams sustained a gruesome-looking leg injury. He needed to be stretchered out. In the game, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 34 points and six rebounds.
Meanwhile, the Suns (1-1) had a 131-122 win over the Golden State Warriors on Saturday. Devin Booker went off for 43 points and seven assists. Jalen Green helped with 12 points.
Because they're on a back-to-back, the Thunder have yet to submit an injury report. That said, look out for Williams, Cason
Wallace, Jaylin Williams, Nikola Topic and Thomas Sorber as potential absences.
Meanwhile, the Suns are without a couple of role players. Oso Ighodaro (oblique strain) is doubtful. Mark Williams (shoulder surgery) is out. Drew Timme (G League two-way) is out.
Tipoff from Oklahoma City is set for 7 p.m. CT.
