Crossing one of the milestones that show how close we are to the regular season, NBA 2K27 is set to release on Sept. 4. The annual video game gives fans a chance to warm up for the new year with updated rosters and new gameplay.
The Oklahoma City Thunder enter the 2026-27 season as co-title favorites — alongside the San Antonio Spurs. Even with their summer filled with cost-cutting moves, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams should be enough to be in the middle of the title conversation.
