The Oklahoma City Thunder travel on the road to face the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday. This will be the first matchup between the two squads in the 2026-27 regular season.
Over a week later, the Thunder (4-2) are still coming to grips with their new grim reality. They fell in a 119-98 loss
to the Houston Rockets on Saturday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 26 points, but nobody else really stepped up in a forgettable outing.Meanwhile, the Cavaliers (4-2) cruised to a 136-111 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday. Evan Mobley had 27 points and Jarrett Allen had 25 points. Both co-headline Cleveland's All-Star frontcourt.

Thunder vs. Cavaliers predictions, picks, odds
Cavaliers 110, Thunder 101: The Thunder are going to need to take some time to find their footing. They're still wrapping their heads around their current health situation. Unfortunately for them, they're hitting a difficult part of their schedule. The Cavaliers have continuity. Say what you want about their playoff hopes, but they're a regular-season win machine. Mitchell and Harden should put up numbers against OKC as it's without its two best perimeter defenders. That'll be a first for the first time in a while. I think the Hospital Thunder should play better after this, but they'll still feel their absences.
ODDS: Cavaliers by 4.5 points
O/U: 228.5
