Nike will debut its 2026-27 NBA Standard Issue Collection apparel. Fans can now buy the pregame gear NBA players typically wear.

As the 2026-27 regular season approaches, the NBA underwent a total rebrand with its pregame warmup and practice gear. Nike has unveiled the 'NBA Standard Issue Collection' for all 30 teams. The league partner has debuted a new chalk-like design.

For the first time ever, fans can buy the warmup gear NBA players typically wear. Of course, the Oklahoma City Thunder have taken part in Nike's bold new idea. The logo is front and center on the warmup gear, hoodies and shorts. Like the rest, it has a chalk-like look to it.

“This collection represents the next evolution of our partnership with Nike, redefining how team identity and basketball culture are expressed across the league," NBA Global Head of Merchandise Partnerships & Business Affairs Michael

Brady said. "By connecting what athletes wear on and around the court with how fans express their passion for the game, the collection brings a new energy and a modern look to NBA fandom."

If you've had NBA 2K27 on deck, this shouldn't be a surprise. Players in the video game had already worn this new in-game gear when on the bench and in pregame warmups. That includes Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the rest of OKC.

I guess this is another way for NBA fans to connect to their favorite team and player. I always get questions about how they can get what the Thunder wear at games — not knowing that they have team-exclusive gear. Now, that changes. Nike has found another avenue of monetization with this idea.

The NBA Standard Issue Collection will be available online and at select retail destinations in two drops on Sept. 15 and Oct. 12, with NBA Specter Edition uniforms and apparel available later this fall.
