The Oklahoma City Thunder play the Denver Nuggets on Thursday, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, money line odds and over/under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet.
This will be the first matchup of the 2026-27 regular season. It also serves as OKC's home opener.
The Thunder (1-0) had a cathartic 116-104 win over the San Antonio Spurs for Opening Night on Tuesday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was the best player with 32 points and four assists. Chet Holmgren had a little bit of a redemption with 14 points and seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, the Nuggets (0-0) will play their first game of the regular season. Nikola Jokic headlines another
year for them. Same for Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon. But once again, Denver's depth remains a weakness and is filled with question marks.

Advice and prediction
The Thunder are riding the high of their Opening Night. Now, how will they crash back down to Earth? Gently or smushed on the surface? I lean toward the former. OKC has seen everything at this point. Even with this newish group. Gilgeous-Alexander has had Denver's number for a minute now. Especially in his home gym. But Jokic's gaudy stat lines should make this an entertaining game that comes down to the final moments. I think the Thunder should escape with a thrilling victory.
Prediction: Thunder 117, Nuggets 110
