Now that we're only a couple of weeks away from NBA training camp, the Oklahoma City Thunder are doing their due diligence. They're starting to add camp bodies to their roster. The first one happened on Monday. They signed Christoph Tilly to an Exhibit-10 deal.
If that name sounds familiar, it's because he was part of OKC's 2026 Summer League roster. He went undrafted in the 2026 NBA draft. He played in four collegiate seasons from 2022-26. The first three years were at Santa Clara before transferring to Ohio State for his senior year.
On the Buckeyes, Tilly averaged 11.0 points on 47.9% shooting, 4.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists. He also shot 23.2% from 3 on 1.8 attempts. The 23-year-old is a 7-foot, 225-pound center.
An Exhibit-10 deal is a non-guaranteed
NBA contract that allows a team to gain the G League rights to players. With the hopes that he could eventually land a two-way deal. Expect the Thunder to sign a bunch of undrafted players similar to Tilly in the next couple of weeks with that goal in mind.
Tilly will get a chance to be part of OKC's training camp and preseason. He should eventually land on the G League's OKC Blue. From there, it's all about player development. This is standard practice for an NBA team with the 2026-27 regular season right around the corner.
