The Oklahoma City Thunder travel on the road to face the Houston Rockets on Saturday. This will be the first matchup between the two squads of the 2026-27 regular season.
The Thunder (4-1) navigate their new apocalyptic NBA life. They're without three of their four best players for the foreseeable future. Last time, they had a 120-96 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 21 points on 19 shot attempts.
Meanwhile, the Rockets (5-1) also fell to the Mavericks in a 116-111 loss on Friday. Kevin Durant had 28 points and five rebounds on the first night of their road-and-home back-to-back.
The Thunder navigate through their new NBA life. Jalen Williams (ankle fracture) is out. Cason Wallace (shoulder labral tear) is out. Chet
Holmgren (patellar tendinitis) is out. Alex Caruso (ankle sprain) is out. Nikola Topic (back surgery) is out. Thomas Sorber (knee surgery) is out.
Because the Rockets are on the second night of a back-to-back, they've yet to submit an injury report. That said, Alperen Sengun and Steven Adams are some names to watch.
Tipoff from Houston is set for 7:30 p.m. CT.
