Best images as New York Knicks ring in new season with loss to 76ers

The New York Knicks held their Champions Night on Tuesday at Madson Square Garden.

There was a stirring ceremony before the game with the Philadelphia 76ers.

New York did it right, having players from their great teams of the early '70s present rings to the front office and coaching staff.

Then, it was time to deliver the bling to the players. Walt "Clyde" Frazier handed the rings out.

A cool video ceremony showed Knicks fans outside MSG being able to hold and wrap themselves in the championship banner that was risen to the rafters after the ring ceremony.

All was not perfect in the end, though, as New York lost to Philly, 106-100. It didn't mar a beautiful night.
