For all the realignment in college football, there are few certainties. One is that Notre Dame stands on its own and the sport is better when the Fighting Irish are a powerhouse.

That they are now as they get ready for Saturday's game in Provo, Utah, against BYU. Both schools are undefeated in 2026, a combined 11-0. Notre Dame has won 16 straight since losing its first two games in 2025.

The Fighting Irish travel well and their faithful will be present against BYU. Among them will be the cheerleaders who will try and inspire ND fans and the team while being up against it due to the pro-Cougar crowd.
