Miley Cyrus played the first of two sold-out shows at the Hollywood Bowl on Oct. 16.
This is the first total tour for "Miley" since 2014. During the show, she paid tribute to her godmother, the late Dolly Parton by singing "Jolene."
“I only got to see Dolly Parton live in concert one time in my entire life and it was here,” she said during the show. “I spend a lot of time backstage and if she had it her way, when she was playing a show, I’d be standing right beside her in a matching costume. And so, when I was coming to the show at the Bowl to see her, I said, ‘You know, I would love a night where I could just experience you.’”
This tour is in support of her recently released album “Bass Persuades."
