The main event was supposed to be the Bass Pro Shops Night race on Saturday at Bristol Motor Speedway, won by Joey Logano.
The race had to take, um a backseat, to the fisticuffs after the final lap.
As has been the case all season, Carson Hocevar was in the middle of controversy, this time because of a wreck with Ryan Blaney.

Blaney used some salty, not safe for work language when describing his version of the incident.

Hocevar said he was not trying to wreck Blaney. He said he got
a run and Blaney went left and he spun him. The "Hurricane" wasn't gonna take it and described his feelings using salty language, too.

The next round will be at Kansas on Sept. 27 when the combatants will be on the track, once again.
