The Indiana Fever's WNBA season is over. It was an interesting one for Sophie Cunningham, who made headlines on and off the court.

Cunningham averaged almost 8 points and more than two rebounds. Next up is free agency. She's a valuable player and it will be intriguing to see if Cunningham stays in Indiana or gets a deal elsewhere.

Fever GM Amber Cox sounds like she would like to keep Cunningham in Indiana.

“Sophie has had two really productive years for us, in terms of shooting the basketball. She is a really solid leader in the locker room, a great connector," Cox said Saturday. "She brings levity, but also brings a lot of experience. She’s serious and is an important voice in our locker room when we need it.”
