Artyom Levshunov was a star patrolling the Michigan State blue line in 2023-24, and his play was rewarded after he became the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft. A cornerstone piece for the Chicago Blackhawks rebuild, Levshunov is aiming to become a star on the blue line in the NHL.
Entering his second full season in the NHL, Levshunov is on the opening night roster for the Blackhawks season opener against the Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday's opening night. He is aiming for a first line role and a top power play spot for the Blackhawks in 2026-27.
During 2025-26, his first full time year in the NHL, Levshunov finished with two goals and 28 assists.
