Michigan State has a couple of soccer teams that are off to scorching hot starts, and the national media has taken attention to what has been going on in East Lansing. Both the Michigan State men's and women's soccer teams are ranked in the top 10 in the nation.
The women, coming in at No. 4, has earned a pair of very good wins to add to their resume. The Spartans defeated No. 6 North Carolina and No. 7 Colorado on back-to-back Sundays en route to a 4-0-1 start to the 2026 season. Their campaign will continue with a road trip to Notre Dame on Thursday.
On the other side, the men do not yet have a ranked win, yet, but are off to a 4-0 start to the season. All four wins for the Spartans have been convincing, with the Spartans averaging four goals
per game. They will have their toughest test of the season coming on Thursday when they face off with Pitt.
