Michigan State football is set to host an intriguing edge rusher prospect from Illinois this upcoming weekend.
Jackson Lewandowski of Lake Zurich, Ill. announced on Wednesday that he plans to be in East Lansing, Mich. for the Spartans' homecoming matchup against Illinois this weekend. Per a social media post from Lewandowski, he said he's excited to get up to Michigan State on Saturday.
Lewandowski is listed as a three-star prospect, with a recruiting rating of 87 on Rivals. He is ranked as the No. 54 edge rusher and No. 21 player from Illinois in Rivals' rankings for the 2028 class.
Michigan State has not yet extended an offer to Lewandowski, according to Rivals. He does, though, have offers from Kansas State, Nebraska, Toledo, Florida Atlantic,
Tulane and Miami (OH).
