A former Michigan State football punter is getting another chance with another NFL team.
Former Spartans punter Bryce Baringer reportedly received a tryout with the Miami Dolphins this week, according to Joe Shad of The Palm Beach Post. This comes roughly one week after Baringer was cut by the New England Patriots.
Baringer was selected by the Patriots in the sixth round of the 2023 NFL Draft. He played three seasons with the Patriots, appearing in 51 games across those three seasons. Baringer experienced an undisclosed lower body injury during the preseason, which prevented him to yet see the field before the Patriots released him last week.
We will have to keep an eye out to see if the former star Spartans punter will get another NFL shot with
the Dolphins or another team.
