Michigan State hockey has made a splash in the recruiting world, earning the first commitment of the 2011 recruiting class, and making it a massive add. Jayden Challenger has made the decision to commit to Michigan State. A native of Ontario, Canada, Challenger is a standout within the Toronto Marlboros AAA organization, and is expected to be a top three pick in the 2027 OHL Draft.
Challenger is the younger brother of Tyler Challenger, a current member of the Sarnia Sting, while also being committed to Michigan State. Tyler is expected to join the Spartans next season in 2027-28, while Jayden is not expected to join the Spartans until 2030-31.
