Michigan State basketball will reportedly host a high-level small forward in the 2028 class.

Kelly is listed as a high-end four-star prospect, with a recruiting rating of 96.72 in 247Sports' composite rating system. He ranks as the No. 10 small forward and No. 34 overall prospect in 247Sports' rankings for the 2028 class. He is also listed as the No. 2 player from Illinois.
Michigan State has not yet extended an offer to Kelly, but he has picked up offers from numerous other big-time programs. According to 247Sports, he holds
offers from Purdue, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Notre Dame and Northwestern.
