Three Spartans featured on top NHL prospects list

Michigan State hockey has seen a massive resurgence under Adam Nightingale, which has turned into the Spartans producing a lot of professional caliber talent. That talent is now slowly making it's way into the National Hockey League. On Wednesday, NHL media released the top 26 prospects in the NHL.

What is the story about?

Michigan State hockey has seen a massive resurgence under Adam Nightingale, which has turned into the Spartans producing a lot of professional caliber talent. That talent is now slowly making it's way into the National Hockey League.

On Wednesday, NHL media released the top 26 prospects in the NHL. Three Spartans made the cut, showing top end talent associated with the program.

Leading the way is Porter Martone, who checked in on No. 2 on the list, while Chase Reid came in at No. 10 and Trey Augustine rounded out the list at No. 26.
