It is one of the hardest days on the calendar for players in the National Football League, as NFL teams have to cut their roster sizes down to just 53 players. A few former Spartans were on the wrong end of roster cuts on Sunday, but one former Spartan got the good news that he had made the active roster.
Training camp standout, and a star on Hard Knocks, Montorie Foster Jr. has made the Seattle Seahawks 53-man roster after a very strong training camp stint. After spending five years in East Lansing, and securing over 1,400 receiving yards in his MSU career, Foster is now going to get his opportunity in professional football.

estate licenses. Now, he is going to be a professional wide receiver.

Foster has gone from being a high school substitute teacher in Ohio and a real estate agent to now earning a spot on the defending Super Bowl champions’ roster.
