Michigan State basketball will get back one of its key big men for Thursday night's matchup against Toledo.
Spartans head coach Tom Izzo met with the local media on Tuesday to preview Michigan State's upcoming game against the Rockets. During that media session, he stated center Jesse McCulloch is expected to make his season debut.
"(On Wednesday in practice) he'll be full contact, and we expect him to be full-go by Thursday," Izzo said during the media session.
McCulloch suffered a "minor concussion" recently in practice that resulted in him missing the season-opening win vs. Quinnipiac on Monday. McCulloch is expected to play key minutes for the Spartans this season as either the starting center or one of the first players off the bench.
Tipoff
for Thursday's matchup between Michigan State and Toledo is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcasted on Peacock and NBCSN.
