What is the story about?

It doesn't matter what the seasons look like. Both teams could be winless and this would still be a game circled on the calendar for both programs. It's the annual Michigan State football vs. Michigan game, and we now know when the Spartans will kick off against the Wolverines next weekend.

The game will be played under the lights in Ann Arbor, with kickoff set for 7:30 pm ET. The game will be broadcast on Peacock.

The Wolverines are 5-3 and will be looking to avoid an embarrassing home loss in what has been a disappointing season for the program under new head coach Kyle Whittingham. The Spartans have yet to win a Big Ten game, coming into this one 0-5 in conference action and 2-6 on the season. A win over their rivals would flip the script on this season and bring

a lot of positive vibes to this program.
