Michigan State hockey's professional development success was highlighted by 18 different players being named to training camp rosters in the National Hockey League this week. That number grew to 19 on Monday.
The Anaheim Ducks made a series of roster moves to their training camp roster, which included adding former Michigan State defenseman, and captain, Matt Basgall to the roster.
Basgall will get his chance to make an NHL roster, which would not be his first professional roster, as he finished last season with the San Diego Gulls. The Spartan from 2022-2026, playing in 150 career games in the green and white, securing 79 points.
We have reduced our 2026 Training Camp roster to 47 players after making the following three moves. Added to roster:
