Michigan State football will play another home game under the lights in a few weeks.
The official game times and TV assignments for the Big Ten games in two weeks were released on Monday, with the Spartans and Nebraska Cornhuskers landing an odd time. Michigan State's home game against Nebraska on September 28 will kick off at 5 p.m. ET.
The game will be televised on the Big Ten Network.
Michigan State is currently 2-0 on the season with an upcoming matchup at No. 3 Notre Dame this weekend. Nebraska is also 2-0 this year and most likely will be a perfect 3-0 when they visit Michigan State next week -- assuming they beat FCS foe North Dakota on Saturday.
This is a fun and different kickoff time for the Spartans as it falls essentially between the 3:30
p.m. ET and 7 p.m. ET window we typically see for Big Ten games. It'll be interesting to see if this is more of a one-off event or if this going to be a new norm in the league.
