Michigan State basketball is reportedly making a strong push for an elite-level point guard prospect in the 2027 class.
According to On3 insider Jamie Shaw, Michigan State is "pushing" for point guard prospect Antonio Pemberton of Wolfeboro, N.H. Shaw provided some notable recruiting updates this week, with Pemberton being a focus of the Spartans' as one of his nuggets.
Pemberton is listed as a high-end four-star prospect, with a recruiting rating of 98.50 in 247Sports' composite system. He ranks as the No. 8 point guard and No. 33 overall prospect in the 2027 class, according to 247Sports.
Michigan State was named as one of eight finalists for Pemberton last week, and it sounds like the Spartans are heavily in the mix for Pemberton. Kansas is also
one of the top teams inconsideration for his commitment at this time.
