Michigan State football brought back a pair of legends to visit the roster during practice on Tuesday, showing that Pat Fitzgerald is committed to bringing the Spartans past and blending it with the present.
Darqueze Dennard and Taybor Pepper were the two Spartans that made their way back to East Lansing for practice on Tuesday, sharing their insights with the current MSU roster.
Dennard, a Spartan from 2010-2013, was a first round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft before going on to have an eight year NFL career. Pepper, a Spartan from 2012-2015, went undrafted in the 2016 NFL Draft, but also went on to have an eight year NFL career.
Having a pair of Spartan legends coming around the program is something Fitzgerald is going to pride himself on, as he should,
as it is an important part of the program's history.
