A former Spartan put up a performance this past weekend that netted him out Pro Football Focus' highest grade among wide receivers in the country.
Former Spartans wide receiver Tyrell Henry received the highest PFF grade in the country this past week for his position. Henry, who now plays for Wisconsin, received a PFF grade of 92.9 in the Badgers' blowout win against Eastern Michigan
this past weekend.Henry finished this week's game with 14 receptions for 160 yards and one touchdown. This was a career-high performance for Henry in both receptions and receiving yards.
Henry played two seasons at Michigan State from 2023 to 2024, recording 24 receptions for 195 yards and three touchdowns in 23 appearances. In his first two seasons with Wisconsin,
Henry mainly served as a reserve, with only six receptions for 41 yards and one touchdown. But his role has elevated this year, with Henry already up to 22 receptions for 293 yards and one touchdown through the first three games.
Michigan State will get to see Henry next week when the Spartans head to Wisconsin. He will be a player we have to monitor now that he's starting to prove he's a key player for the Badgers.
