Michigan State basketball will be gearing up for the 2026-27 season, the 32nd season of Tom Izzo's tenure in East Lansing. The hopes are high for the Spartans, including the 18th regular season Big Ten championship in the program's history. The first step towards that goal was released on Wednesday.
The Big Ten has released the official Big Ten schedule, with every team in the conference learning what their schedule will look like for the upcoming season.
Michigan State's Big Ten slate has some key highlights, including home and homes against Maryland, Michigan and Nebraska. The Spartans will also play home against Minnesota and away against Maryland in early December. Also notable, the Spartans avoided a trip to Mackey Arena, and will only play Illinois
once.
