Michigan State hockey has announced a major opponent coming to town for an exhibition game in a few weeks.
The Spartans announced on Wednesday that they'll be hosting a premier program in college hockey for an exhibition game -- Boston College. The Spartans and Eagles will take the ice for a marquee exhibition matchup on October 2 from Munn Ice Arena. This will serve as the Spartans' lone exhibition game before the regular season begins the following weekend.
Michigan State comes into the season as a preseason top five team by many, and should again contend for the a Big Ten and national championship. Boston College is also expected to be right around a top 10 team as the season approaches, making this a fun battle on the ice before the official
games begin.
Game time and potential viewing options have not yet been announced for this matchup. Stay with Spartans Wire for additional updates surrounding this exhibition game.
