Michigan State football’s 2027 recruiting class is near completion after the Spartans secured 15 commitments over the summer. Now, heading into the fall, Michigan State can fill the final three to five spots in a selective fashion.
One recruit the Spartans are fond of is Detroit (MI) offensive lineman Jameer Henry. A standout at Martin Luther King High School, Henry is ranked as the No. 594 player nationally and the No. 10 player in the state of Michigan according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
According to On3’s Allen Trieu, Henry and the Spartans are growing closer to being a match. Henry is expected to come to Michigan State for a game day visit, where the two sides will look to come to a commitment agreement. Trieu has given his vote
of confidence that his prediction for Henry to Michigan State is still a strong one.

Along with MSU, Henry holds offers from Cincinnati, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Pitt, Purdue, Tennessee, USC and Vanderbilt.
