You could, fairly easily, make the case that, through the first month of the NFL season, former Michigan State football star and reigning Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III has been the best player in the NFL. For his efforts, the Kansas City Chiefs running back has earned the AFC Offensive Player of the Month honors.
Through the first month of the NFL season, Walker has rushed for 360 yards and two touchdowns while also catching 11 passes for 82 yards and two touchdowns, helping lead the Chiefs to an undefeated start to the season. Not only has he been torching defenses, but he's been doing it on the biggest stages, with a signature performance on Monday Night Football against the Denver Broncos.
