Michigan State football has opened as a monster underdog in this week's nationally televised matchup at Notre Dame.
The Spartans are currently listed as a near-30 point underdog at Notre Dame this week. According to FanDuel, Notre Dame is favored by 29.5 points over the Spartans, with the over-under points total set at 52.5 for this matchup.
Michigan State comes into this matchup with a perfect 2-0 record on the year, following wins over Toledo and Eastern Michigan in the first two weeks. This will mark the Spartans first matchup against a power team and will also be their first road game of the season.
Notre Dame is also a perfect 2-0 to start the season, with the Fighting Irish handling both Wisconsin and Rice in their first pair of games. The
Fighting Irish are ranked No. 3 in both the Associated Press Top 25 rankings and US LBM Coaches Polls.
Kickoff from Notre Dame Stadium is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday. The game will be televised on the NBC.
