Former Michigan State hockey star, and Hobey Baker Award winner, Isaac Howard had an up-and-down first season of professional hockey. Howard spent time with both the Edmonton Oilers and their AHL affiliate, the Bakersfield Condors.
In his 29 NHL games, he scored two goals and added three assists. In his 47 AHL games, he was a standout with 24 goals and 26 assists. Now, he is looking to translate that AHL production into the National Hockey League.
Howard will get his chance to make that translation, as he officially has made the Oilers opening night roster, and will be sporting the same No. 53 jersey.
