The National Hockey League will be starting action for the 2026-27 season on Tuesday evening. With action getting underway, it gives a whole new opportunity to teams and fanbases alike.
One former Spartan is going to get his opportunity at the NHL earlier than expected.
Charlie Stramel has made the Minnesota Wild’s NHL roster after a strong showing in training camp. The 2023 first round pick is entering his first year at the professional level after spending the last two years in East Lansing.
In 74 career games with MSU, Stramel scored 28 goals and added 43 assists.
