A key Spartans recruiting target has reportedly canceled one of his upcoming official visits, which could bode well for Michigan State.
Michigan State target Jaydn Jenkins
has reportedly canceled an upcoming official visit to NC State, according to 247Sports insider Dushawn London. Jenkins is reportedly just coming off a visit to Xavier but still have other visits planned with Ohio State, Michigan State and Georgetown.Jenkins is listed as a high four-star prospect, with a recruiting rating of 98.24 in 247Sports' composite system. He ranks as the No. 6 center and No. 42 overall prospect in the 2027 class, according to 247Sports.
With NC State clearly no longer in the running for Jenkins, Michigan State's odds of landing this prized prospect has
certainly grown. Michigan State will get their chance to have him on campus from September 10-13, with visits to Georgetown and Ohio State to follow. We should have a pretty good understanding of how things will play out by later September, with hopefully Michigan State winning this key recruiting battle.
