A former Spartans standout wide receiver is looking for a new team in the NFL.
Former Michigan State football wide receiver Cody White was released by the Las Vegas Raiders on Wednesday. Adam Schefter of ESPN reported the roster news for the Raiders.
White was in the midst of his best season of his five-year NFL career with the Raiders this season. He had career-highs in receptions (eight), yards (112) and touchdowns (three) through the eight games he played with the Raiders this season.
White will now look to find a new home in the NFL. He has also previously played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Seattle Seahawks in primarily special teams roles, so maybe he can reunite with either of those teams for the remainder of this season.
