The Washington Huskies are looking to start Danny Sprinkle's third season at the helm off on a high note as the Colgate Raiders come to town in a matchup that Washington's head coach isn't overlooking.
"Colgate's a really good team," Sprinkle said during the preseason. "I know people out here probably don't know. Their coach does a hell of a job, and it probably wasn't great scheduling on our part. It's hard to get teams to come out to Seattle; we thank them for coming, but this is a damn good team. They've got some players back from last year that are really good players."
The Huskies are hoping to get top transfer addition Ryan Beasley back into the rotation after the former All-WCC Second Team point guard at San Francisco missed the preseason
slate with a concussion.
