Two weeks before the Washington Huskies take the floor for the first of two exhibition games, Danny Sprinkle's 2026-27 roster has been formally revealed.
Although UW announced most of the now-confirmed roster, it had yet to unveil prized Brazilian forward Wini Braga, one of two international additions for the third-year coach this offseason. The 6-foot-9 forward will wear No. 15 for the Huskies, a notable jersey number previously worn by top 10 all-time scorer Noah Dickerson from 2015-19.
Braga could be a potential impact freshman for Sprinkle this coming season alongside returning third-year center Lathan Sommerville, second-year forward Nikola Dzepina, and incoming fourth-year transfer LeJuan Watts. It's unclear how much of an acclimation period
the athletic and versatile post player will need to get up to speed with the rest of the team, as a university spokesperson said he will be "arriving shortly".

In addition to Braga, the Huskies brought in another international prospect, Australian guard Tristan Devers, who has been practicing with the team since July. The 6-foot-2 Melbourne native spent the past two years as a development player for the Brisbane Bullets, a professional team in Australia's National Basketball League.
Six players return from Sprinkle's second season in Seattle: fifth-year center Mady Traore, fourth-year guard Wesley Yates III, second-year forward Jasir Rencher, second-year guard Brandon Roy Jr. and the previously noted bigs, Sommerville and Dzepina.
UW signed five transfers, three of which are listed as true guards: Parker Friedrichsen (via Davidson), Ryan Beasley (via San Francisco), and Tayshawn Comer (via Nevada), with Steele Venters, who's entering his eighth season—though he did not play for two years from 2023-25—and Watts, who is listed as both a guard and forward.
The Huskies travel to face Boise State on Oct. 17 before returning to Alaska Airlines Arena to host Washington State on Oct. 25 as their two preseason tuneups. UW opens the 2026-27 regular season at home on Nov. 2 vs. Colgate.
