Following his breakout performance in a 20-13 win for the Denver Broncos over the Jacksonville Jaguars, former Washington Huskies star running back Jonah Coleman has seen a meteoric rise across the NFL community.
However, that rise hit a snag on Wednesday following a report from ESPN's Adam Schefter, stating that in the midst of his 10-carry, 39-yard performance, where he added 3 catches for 19 yards and scored the game-winning touchdown, he sustained a sprained ankle.
As the Broncos look ahead to their Week Three matchup with the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday Night Football, they have several issues to work out in the backfield as J.K. Dobbins and R.J. Harvey both deal with hamstring injuries too.

"I think there's a lot ahead of us this week in regards to who our runners are going to be," head coach Sean Payton said during his Monday press conference.
All three running backs were spotted during the portion of Wednesday's practice that was open to the media, a good sign for Coleman's availability for the contest. However, it could eat into his workload if Harvey is able to return after missing the Week Two victory, which is part of the reason he was able to assume a larger snap count.
Following his first extended action, Coleman was also nominated for Pepsi's Rookie of the Week award alongside his former UW teammate Denzel Boston.
